afternoon. 85 degrees at reagan national airport. hagerstown, 80 degrees. 57 in cleveland. 65 in pittsburgh. take a look to the west of us. south dakota, currently 23 degrees. a wind chill factor of about 3 degrs. it will move its way across our area. it will take another couple of days. we have two cold fronts to go. it will drop our temperatures quite a bit. a lot of rain from michigan, indiana, ohio. the thunderstorm watch for parts of tennessee, kentucky, and west virginia. the high pressure will move offshore. the rate remains to the north with the clouds continuing to increase across western maryland. we look at mostly cloudy skies with clouds on the way tonight.

an area of low pressure will drift off to the north and east by tomorrow afternoon. peaks of sunshine with gradual clearing's. breezy conditions with showers developing from west to east. temperatures fall from the mid to upper 60's. showers to the east of the sea temperatures and a 50's or 60's -- in the 50's or 60's by afternoon. we will feel the cooler temperatures. they will be in the lower 60's by wednesday, thursday, and friday. a definite change on the way for columbus day. temperature around 65 degrees. tonight, 20/20 examines the criminal case against 20 marshall, the son of philanthropist brooke astor.

william county schools. >> there was an unexpected jump in enrollment. we're told why so manystudents showed up. >> it is sort of counter intuitive. you expect foreclosures would mean a lot less families. here at prince william county, it was the exact opposite that has happened. jennifer discovered prince william school populations spike first hand on the first day of school. she was squeezed into a class of 26 until a new teacher was hired and moved into a small classroom that was once the guidance counselor's office. she is in a class of 10. >> it was too enticing to pass up. 10 children to one teacher? the teacher gets to know the child. more one on one. >> the crackdown on illega immigration in the foreclosure crisis -- not quite like this.
